It has been proven that water softeners can reduce running costs in your home or business, thereby providing real savings in the areas of maintenance and replacement of appliances. In hard water areas, appliances have a life expectancy of 40% less than those in soft water areas. If you need to buy a water softener system anywhere in Ireland, well then, you have come to the right place. We at CWS are committed to providing home owners with the very best quality water softeners available.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filters are the most popular type of water filter used for drinking water in Ireland. Reverse Osmosis is a filtration process that is used to remove a wide range of contaminants to give water of a very high purity. Most reverse osmosis systems are five or six stage filtration units and fit in under your kitchen sink. Most people are aware that filtering tap water can improve its quality.
We supply many different types of water filters, filters for drinking water at your tap, filters for water coolers and filters for whole house or commercial water treatment. They vary from block carbon water filters to sediment removal and taste & odour filters. We also carry a range of Ultrafiltration Water Filters. We supply 10" or 20" sizes or larger if required. We also carry all replacement filters for reverse osmosis filters.
We supply many different types of water coolers, both for home/private use and business use. Both systems offer the same high quality drinking water filtered for that crisp, refreshing taste. We sell and install water coolers throughout Ireland and all of our office and home water cooler systems comes with our standard quality guarantee.

How Does A Reverse Osmosis System Work?
At CWS we provide an extensive range of reliable, highly specified reverse osmosis filter systems. Reverse Osmosis Systems are used most commonly to purify drinking water. It does this by removing salts and other impurities to result in improved colours, better taste and improved properties of the water.
Cross flow allows the membrane to continually clean itself off. As fluid passes through the membrane, some of it continues downstream. This causes the rejected and unwanted particles to be pushed away from the membrane. RO requires a strong driving force to push the fluid through the membrane. Most reverse osmosis systems require a booster pump to force water through exceptionally small pore sizes in filter cartridges and membranes at high pressure. This ensures you only get pure drinking water.
What Does A Reverse Osmosis System Treat?
Reverse Osmosis successfully treats water with dissolved minerals and metals such as aluminium, arsenic, barium, chloride, chromium, copper, fluoride, magnesium, iron, lead, manganese, mercury, nitrate, selenium, silver, sulphate and zinc.
RO is also effective with asbestos, many taste, colour and odour producing chemicals, particulates,
total dissolved solids, turbidity and radium. When using appropriate active carbon pre filtering (commonly included with most RO systems), additional treatment can also be provided for such volatile contaminants as as benzene, MTBE, trichlorethylene, trihalomethanes and radon.
Proline Plus Reverse Osmosis Water Filter
Stage 1: 5 Micron Sediment water filter: With only five micron rating. It is effective in removing dirt, rust and sand particles.
Stage 2: Granular Activated Carbon water filter: Takes out 99% of the chlorine and organic chemicals. It provides enhanced reduction of taste, odour and colour.
Stage 3: 1 Micron Sediment water filter: With only one micron rating, provides effective filtration to protect your membrane.
Stage 4: Reverse Osmosis Membrane: A thin film composite (TFC) high quality membrane. It removes the following hard water contaminants that may be present in your water: Lead, copper, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, fluoride, nitrite, nitrate and selenium.
Stage 5: Post Carbon water filter: This carbon post filter removes objectionable tastes and odours to enhance the quality of your drinking water. We are using NSF approved post carbon to guarantee the taste of the water.
